This policy applies to Mathnasium Gungahlin, G01/102 Swain Street, Gungahlin ACT 2912 (“we”, “us”). Mathnasium Gungahlin is an independently owned and operated franchise. This policy covers our local centre website and services. The Mathnasium franchisor has its own privacy policy for its websites and systems.

2. What we collect

Parent/guardian contact details: name, relationship to the student, phone, email.
Student details: name, year level, school, maths goals and learning needs, assessment results and progress.
Booking information: appointment times, preferences and notes.
Communications: emails, SMS, calls, chat and messages with us (including messages handled by automated or AI-assisted tools).
Technical data: IP address, device/browser, pages visited, referral source and cookie identifiers.

We collect information about children from their parent or guardian.

3. How we collect it

Through website forms, online booking, phone, SMS, email, in-person visits, chat or AI assistants on our website or social pages, social media and advertising lead forms, and cookies/analytics.

To respond to enquiries and book assessments
To deliver and manage tutoring, including learning plans and progress updates
To send service messages such as confirmations, reminders and schedule changes
To send marketing — only with your consent
To improve our website and measure our advertising

5. Marketing — your choice

Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of booking an assessment. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by contacting us. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies — which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — to understand how our site is used and to measure and improve our advertising. These providers may collect information about your visits. You can manage cookies in your browser and adjust ad preferences with Google and Meta.

7. Chat and AI assistants

If you chat with us on our website or social channels, messages may be handled by automated or AI-assisted tools operated by our service providers. Please don’t share sensitive information via chat. A team member can follow up personally on request.
